SURVEYING DEPARTMENT

Survey Manager
TCE is seeking a full-time licensed land surveyor (or will consider 2 or 4 year degree in surveying) with a minimum of 5 years related survey experience. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, quality control, and demonstrated ability to work with, and coordinate, field personnel. Proficiency with GPS, AutoCAD and/or Carlson, TOPCON GTS Total Station and/or Data Collector is preferred. This position may involve field work and requires physical fitness. Relevant qualifications and good communication skills are essential. Candidates for this position must have experience in boundary, topographic survey, deed research, and construction surveys. GPS and/or ALTA experience a plus.

Survey Technician
Trudell Consulting Engineers (TCE) is seeking a full-time survey technician. This is a field position and requires physical fitness. The position involves assisting the survey crew chiefs at TCE with daily field work and some limited office work. Experience in surveying or a related field preferred, but are not essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Carlson Survey and/or AutoCAD is a plus.

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager
Seeking a full time Senior Civil Project Engineer with a minimum of a BSCE, PE, and 5+ years experience in the preparation of civil/site documents. Candidates must have strong personnel management and technical skills and proficiency with AutoCAD, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Position involves a working knowledge of site, utility, wastewater, storm water design, and State of Vermont land use permitting process.

Landscape Architect / Site Designer / Planner
Trudell Consulting Engineers (TCE) is seeking a full-time landscape architect with site design and/or planning experience. The primary duties will be working with our senior landscape architect, project managers and engineers to develop planting plans, renderings, grading plans, landscape details, and site layout for various commercial and residential developments. Additional duties may include CAD/GIS drafting, color renderings, and assisting with various site permitting. A BS in Landscape Architecture is required. Proficiency with MS Office, Photoshop, ArcView GIS and/or AutoCAD is a plus.

CAD Manager
TCE is seeking a full time CAD Manager. A minimum of 2 years in an engineering field from a technical college is required. The ideal candidate for this position would have a minimum of 5 years of relevant CAD experience and a thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD LandDesktop 2008. The position involves daily AutoCAD drafting to create site plans, profiles, sections, details and other plans for a variety of site / civil projects. The CAD Manager will also be responsible for other CAD technicians, meeting deadlines, developing standards and maintaining quality control, and other managerial responsibilities in the CAD department. The qualified candidate will coordinate with engineers, surveyors and project managers at TCE on creating high quality plans in a fast paced environment. Relevant qualifications and pertinent computer skills are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Server and networks, ArcView GIS, Photoshop and/or Carlson Civil are a plus.

CAD Draftsperson
TCE is seeking a full time CAD Draftsperson. A minimum of 2 years in an engineering field from a technical college is required. The ideal candidate for this position would have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and experience in an engineering field. The position involves daily AutoCAD drafting to create site plans, profiles, sections, details and other plans for a variety of site / civil projects. Relevant qualifications and pertinent computer skills are essential. Proficiency with ArcView GIS, Photoshop, AutoCAD LandDesktop and/or Carlson Civil are a plus.

Site Technician / Septic Designer
TCE is seeking a full time Site Technician / Septic Designer. A minimum of 2 years in an engineering field from a technical college is required along with a VT Site Technician Designer Certification Class A or Class B. The position involves assisting the engineers and project managers at TCE with a variety of septic engineering and technical tasks. Relevant qualifications and good communication skills are essential. This position will also involve field work and requires physical fitness. The ideal candidate for this position would have a minimum of 2 years of experience in on-site soils testing, septic design and working knowledge of the State of Vermont Environmental Protection Rules. Proficiency with pre-treatment systems, pump station design, Microsoft Office and Carlson/AutoCAD are a plus.
