Pittsford Post Office - Pittsford

Trudell Consulting Engineers (TCE) has been involved with the development of a new Pittsford Post Office since 2000. The project originally called for the permitting and subdivision of a 2.7-acre parcel into two lots: one for a new, 3,630 square foot United States Post Office and the other would remain a residential lot for a pre-existing single-family dwelling.

Over the past five years, TCE has remained on the project to work through numerous appeals. Recent additions to the site plan include a second driveway on Plains Road and small stormwater filter basins, to further remove potential pollutants. Two settling basins are included in site design. Additional stormwater treatment will be provided by a berm located on the grassed area adjacent to the parking lot.

TCE’s involvement also included landscaping, location of an entrance and exit to the post office, a traffic study, and sidewalks.
